The Datatool system is a Thatcham-approved GPS/GLONASS/GSM tracking and theft notification service predominantly designed for scooters and motorcycles. Recently expanded with features such as Journey History and G-Sense impact detection, it offers enhanced capabilities for vehicle security and monitoring.

Activation occurs automatically when the ignition is switched off, with the system continuously monitoring for signs of unauthorized movement. Should movement be detected without the ignition being engaged, and if the vehicle is relocated from its original parked position, Datatool transitions into full alert mode. Notifications are then promptly dispatched to the dedicated 24/7/365 Monitoring Team.

In suspected theft situations, the Monitoring Team contacts the owner directly. If theft is confirmed, they coordinate with law enforcement authorities on behalf of the owner to facilitate vehicle recovery.

The accompanying Datatool app provides users with real-time access to their vehicle’s location, detailed journey history, and options to enable G-Sense crash detection alerts. It also allows users to manage account settings and communicate directly with the Monitoring Team.
